Wabi-Sabi dolls are slightly longer in the body between back neck to waist than the Blythe doll body. This means that the fit of the kimono is not quite perfect on our Blythe as the ‘obi’ belt wraps a little low – and rests on the hips not the waist where we would like it.
A simple adjustment can be made to the pattern to accommodate a shorter, or indeed longer, back neck to waist measurement.
We believe that the fit of our dolls clothing should be as perfect as we can get it – so here are the steps.
